Agriculture
The vast majority (80%) of the world’s current supply of ammonia is used in the agriculture sector as fertilizer – a sector that contributes heavily to greenhouse gas emissions. Access to locally produced green ammonia will dramatically reduce emissions and offers energy independence to farmers worldwide.
Fuel
The use of fossil fuels is increasingly being restricted. Electric cars are one answer, but we aren’t ready to use them exclusively yet. Green ammonia offers a transition option for the transportation industry. It also can replace highly polluting gasoline, diesel and propane to run engines, generators and turbines that are used all over the world as an electricity source. Locally produced green ammonia is the obvious next step to be fuel for a mindful world.

Fuel Cells
Hydrogen isn’t yet delivering what we need from fuel cells. Green ammonia fuel cells can be produced in the near future to fill the need. More practical and affordable than hydrogen.
Grid Storage
The problem with energy grids is that we’ve always had to use the electricity right away – we had no way to store it for later use. So, we have more than we need when demand is low, and shortages
when demand is high. Researchers the world over are searching for a way to store electricity. Green ammonia is a credible solution – particularly for remote communities that can use sustainable
electricity, water and air to produce the green ammonia, store it when it is in abundance, and use it as fertilizer and fuel when it is needed.

Ammonia – The Chemical
Ammonia is a chemical used in many industries for a wide variety of uses – from textile manufacturing to mining. Those industries need to reduce their carbon footprints. Green ammonia is the best way forward.
